WINDFEST is a horror thriller comic that follows a group of friends who are drawn to an abandoned town by an online post. As they explore, they fall deeper into its freakish past and encounter a creature hunting them. Will the friends make it out alive?

Windfest is a 72-page comic that was a year-long senior capstone project from Fall 2023 - Spring 2024 at Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA).

The project used Ink on Deleter paper for the drawing, then the inked pages were scanned into Photoshop. Once in the program, the pages were rendered with digital screentones and formatted as book pages in Adobe InDesign.

Once all the files were formatted, I sent them to be printed (via Mixam) as bound books. The final copies were marketed and sold at Art Walk 2024 (MICA Senior Exhibition).
